Canada sings its siren song…and I listen..and more

BanffI’m heading to Canada in both October and November to speak at several conferences– perhaps if you are living in Banff or Calgary, we could meet for a cup of really black thick coffee and bannock bread with maple syrup. Or if you live near there and have suggestions for things I should see and do, please let me know.

I’ve done keynotes and workshops at conferences for many years, primarily driven by my earlier books–business and cultural diversity-focused for the most part.

Now, here in the 9th month of 2007, I’m setting my intention in a new trajectory and need your help: In addition to the interactive keynotes and workshops that David and I are doing, I’m inclined these days to also include my 37days perspective in the speaking work I am doing–moving beyond the professional to include the personal, if you will, using this real voice that I have found, not the business one that I had cultivated. From power suit to handpainted silk kimono jacket, from primly tied silk triangle to funky felted scarves by Chad Alice Hagen, from pumps to outrageous hand-painted shoes. You know what I mean. Perhaps you’re on the same path.

If you believe that others could benefit from hearing a 37days message and are looking for a speaker to inspire your conference goers, make them think differently, make them laugh once or five or nine times, fuel their creativity and kindness and whole self living, challenge them to be the best that they can–that is, if you’re interested in having me speak at one of your conferences or can pass along my name to others in your network who plan conferences and meetings and women’s gatherings and graduations, I’d be delighted. I’d actually be more than delighted. I’d be heartily and unapologetically consumed with gratitude, like a moth to a flame (but, of course, without the incendiary fate that the poor moth suffers). Let me know, won’t you?
