Save me from those bats
Evidently, I am only traveling to cities beginning with the letter "A" in 2009. Or at least for the first few trips.
I hope that after these holidays of frenetic shopping and family dinners, you might like a breather, time to "set a spell" and talk about living a more intentional life. The new year gives us a whole fresh white empty glorious slate on which to do just that.
I'll be reading and signing Life is a Verb in Austin at Bookwoman on Friday, January 9th. It's been a long time since I've been to Austin, what with the bats and all. This time around, I'm hoping you'll join me there. Let your friends and family in Texas know, won't you? Save me from those bats.
And then, Atlanta! Charis Books,Thursday, February 5th at 7:30pm. Perhaps I'll take the family for an afternoon at Atlanta's new aquarium before hitting the bookstore.
In these past hectic few months of traveling to over 30 book events, I've taken to microblogging since stringing more than two sentences together has been difficult to imagine, must less do. While real, honest-to-god essays will return to 37days on Monday, January 5th, you can follow along my train of thought on Twitter in 140-character spurts, if you are so inclined.
