your daily rock : see again

We are moving too fast to really see.

We don’t often sit still long enough to watch the world around us–we are too driven to jump into that stream.

Sit on the bank. See the bees fly by you, the flowers unfold. See your children wiggle their loose teeth and be nervous and excited about that moment when they will fall out.

See the world again. Walk in the rain and watch the reflection of clouds in puddles.

Really see. Not dizzy flashes of life moving by as if you’re on an Interstate, but something altogether different.
